In this position, you will support the Company’s aggressive growth strategy by analyzing and presenting the financial and strategic impact of business practices and trends. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to bring keen business insight to the analysis of margin and expense variances and trends, as well as new projects and initiatives.
As a strong business partner to functional areas across the Company, as well as senior management, you will lead and participate in a variety of challenging projects with direct impact on the strategic direction of the organization.
Responsibilities in this position include:
- Preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports and statements by account, including Key Performance Indicators.
- Developing/reviewing new business pricing models.
- Compiling annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Partnering with management of key functional areas to continually review opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Creating various ad hoc reports for analyses.
- Providing meaningful insight into business trends.
Qualifications and characteristics leading to success in this position include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical or financial role
- Energized by a fast-paced environment; able to meet tight time tables and change priorities as required.
- Project team leader and/or supervisory experience
- Proven record of process improvement, highly organized & detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Access and AS400 query applications is required for this position. JD Edwards knowledge is a plus.
