Our products include a wide variety of indirect supplies – including packaging (bags, gift boxes), office supplies, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other indirect items required to efficiently operate retail stores. Our services include IT and logistics solutions that help our customers focus on their core business, while we manage the behind-the-scenes details.

Due to growth, we are currently seeking a National Account Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Be the primary customer contact for established retail national accounts for day to day activities and long-term planning
• Create account strategy and make client presentations
• Generate growth within assigned account(s) to meet and exceed budgeted plan
• Manage implementation of new client programs
• Proactively assess client satisfaction and present ideas for improvement and/or expanding client services
• Monitor accounts for achievement of company Key Performance Indicators
• Communicate client expectations to account team and other internal departments

We are seeking an individual with the following requirements:

• The ability to both think strategically and be involved in the details, including full PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
• Strong knowledge of business principles (including forecasting and pricing)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Four to eight years of selling or account management experience; demonstrated success managing client relationships and consultative selling
• Experience in high SKU program (distribution) sales to major retailers is a strong plus
• Personal characteristics required include a strong team orientation, organization, priority and time management skills

This position is located in our Morton Grove, IL corporate office.  Overnight travel is minimal.
