HELP DESK ANALYST - JD EDWARDS

We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst who has experience with JD Edwards World financial and distribution applications. This position will play a critical role by teaming with the Applications Support team to provide support to our internal user community and assist in problem-solving and resolution of production system issues to support our external client needs. This includes users in the JD Edwards World system, as well as supporting the ASP provider for electronic invoicing (nuBridges), our eCommerce website and Microsoft and Crystal Reporting services.
Responsibilities of this position will range from:
- Answering and logging incoming calls, as well as providing status updates and reports.
- Supporting , investigating and resolving level 1, 2 and 3 user issues for assigned systems and working directly with other IS analysts to resolve matters.
- Providing user-oriented application documentation, fact sheets and training guides.
- Reviewing support efforts to identify training opportunities and working with the Applications team to present ideas and solutions on how to provide better user support.
- Assisting in activities such as capacity planning, project tasks and ad-hoc requests.
Requirements for the qualified candidate include:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of work experience with at least 1 year providing technical support in a JDE 7.3 World environment.
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts to a non-technical associates.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service support.
