We are currently seeking a Credit Analyst to participate in the full range of business to business credit and collection activities. This position will be responsible for establishing proper credit lines for new and existing customers, reviewing sales & purchase orders, making collection calls and interacting with other internal departments in addition to the following:

• Making collection calls to delinquent accounts
• Processing Dunning letters
• Analyzing financial info on existing/potential clients
• Reviewing/approving credit sales orders
• Reprinting invoices as requested by clients
• Assisting the A/R department in the application of cash receipts and the reconciliation of unapplied cash balances
• Following up with the Sales Department and Customers Service Departments on the timely issuance of credit memos
• Providing verbal and written credit references to those companies that contact Schwarz for information
• Recommending to the Corporate Credit Manager those accounts that should be placed with an outside agency or attorney
• Monitoring bankruptcies as needed
• Handling D&B report requests
• Visiting problem accounts as deemed necessary
  

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or have equivalent experience. You must be highly organized & detail-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills with at least 2-3 years of credit experience. The individual must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints. Analytical and problem solving skills are also essential for this position.
