Currently we are searching for an Accountant I with a minimum of 3-4 years of cost and inventory accounting experience. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Processing POD Rebates with vendors providing collection status and reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Monitoring inventory adjustments and write-offs to assure proper accounting and controls are maintained.
• Preparing monthly account analysis of the return to vendor general ledger accounts.
• Preparing pallet charges for specific customers.
• Preparing daily inventory graph reports.
• Assisting in the coordination of all physical inventories, may require some travel.
• Other duties as assigned.

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3-4 years of cost and accounting experience. You must be highly organized & detail-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The individual must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight time constraints. Analytical and problem solving skills are also essential for this position. Proficiency in Excel, Access and AS400 query applications is required for this position. JD Edwards knowledge is a plus.
